Terni Polimeri, with its activities , contributes in a concrete way to environmental protection in the absolute respect of the regulations in force looking forward  to enhance this focus with higher objectives.

Studies carried out through collaboration with various Italian universities showed that Terni Polimeri:

•  reduces the quantities of CO2 introduced into the environment.
  The regeneration processes of the plastics permit the introduction of approximately one tenth of C02 into the environment compared to the total production processes of virgin polymers;
• with its production it avoids the disposal of plastic waste in landfills by subtracting from them a volume equal to a building with 1000 square meters of base and about 75 meters in height, plastics that would remain preserved underground even for 1000 years before disintegration.

Terni Polimeri,  with its constant focus on environmental sustainability, carries out a production process that does not involve the input of processing water into the environment being totally closed circuit.

Finally, with the aim of reducing energy consumption and waste as much as possible, the waste heat deriving from processing is recovered and makes up for the heating of the offices during the winter period.
